Ntegra enabled a client to report Health and Safety, Security and Environment incidents within a fully collaborative SharePoint environment. This featured Microsoft InfoPath 2010 forms to provide functionality such as Active Directory lookup, cascading forms, attachments, notification emails and flexibility in data management within form libraries.

Health and Safety accident reporting also benefits its users from full integration of existing processes and policies, provisioning of sites (workspaces) and document management (i.e. policies and processes, risk assessments, and useful forms) where ultimately providing a central hub of Health and Safety information.

Using SharePoint to promote Health and Safety can add value to any organisation by reducing costs, risks, promoting best practice and builds a better rapport from key witnesses and managers alike for when accidents do occur. Not only will the reports from Health and Safety team(s) appear more accurate and less time consuming but also the witness statement(s) is more accurate too. Throughout the process, email notification to the appropriate parties are sent giving all round communication to those involved.
